AimDrag across the course, or open the map and tap a target. The white ring is where a pure, full swing lands with no wind.
WindThe top bar shows its speed and where it blows. It pushes the ball all through its flight; the ring and the caddie's line are for a calm day, so allow for it yourself.
SwingPut your thumb low on the right and slide it down for the backswing: the farther you go, the more power. Slide back up past where you started to strike, at a 3:1 tempo. Where your thumb crosses its start sets the face (right of it is open, left closed), the slant of the last part of the upswing is the path, and a wobble on the way is a mis-hit. For a putt or a part shot the white line on the swing pad shows how far back to go on a flat lie; the slope, the lie and the wind are your read.
FlagstickThe flag stays in for every shot but a putt. A firm ball square on the stick drops in; a glancing hit ricochets away.
RulesWater costs a penalty stroke and a drop. White stakes are out of bounds: one stroke and replay. Max score is par + 5.
BagPick the clubs you carry in the settings: up to 14, the putter always one of them.
KeyboardLeft and right arrows, or A and D, turn the aim; up and down arrows change clubs.
